Kevin R. Cooper is a certified professional dog trainer.  Trained at the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers, his certification is recognized by the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools and is internationally accepted.  He is an Associate member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and a member of National K-9’s Graduate Association.

Kevin honorably served in the U.S. Navy nearly 12 years serving in both administrative and information technology positions.   As an avid dog fancier who has been around dogs most of his life, he answered his true calling and traded his sea-legs in for a leash.  Understanding canine personalities and behaviors, he loves the challenge of making dogs better companions.

Some of Kevin’s other interests include:  Watching, playing and officiating ice hockey; Baseball and softball umpiring; golf; travel; playing the drums; and of course spending time with his family and friends.

 

Shannon Cooper is Canine Connections’ Office Manager as well as a dog trainer.  Shannon has an extensive background in office management, human resources and retail sales.  Being the wife of a U.S. Navy Sailor has allowed her to work in many different industries.  She has a great love for animals and enjoys working with dogs.

Some of Shannon’s other interests include:  Arts and crafts; scrap booking; photography; home décor; music; travel and visiting with family.

Kevin and Shannon own four Dachshunds, Piper, Alexis (Lexi), Easton and Calie.
